Dubai Expo Dome

The Dubai Expo Dome stands as one of the most iconic architectural landmarks of Expo 2020 Dubai, the global event held under the theme “Connecting Minds, Creating the Future.” The Dome anchored a vast network of pavilions and shared spaces designed to host international collaboration, cultural exchange, and innovation on a world stage. Its design demanded engineering precision and structural solutions capable of meeting the highest international standards.
Biston collaborated on this landmark project by delivering the steel structure for the solar rooftop installed on Rove Expo and Cheval Maison — the two front-facing buildings of the Expo Dome. The scope required careful fabrication and on-site execution to integrate the solar rooftop seamlessly with the existing architectural identity of the buildings, while ensuring full structural performance, load capacity, and long-term durability under Dubai’s climate conditions.
